Midlands Province
To maintain and enhance the services provided by natural ecosystems and thereby
secure livelihoods, food, water health and reduce vulnerability to climate change
To promote safe environmental practices among communities in Zimbabwe.
To raise awareness about the importance of environmental sustainability.
To support local capacity building initiatives in environmental protection.
To complement government efforts and interventions in addressing environmental
challenges.
To identify local resources and promote environmentally friendly utilisation and
conservation for the development of the society through adopting new strategies
in protecting the environment.
To capacitate and strengthen environmental Indigenous Knowledge Systems among
local Communities.
To adopt measures towards the rehabilitation of the damaged environment.
To engage in any other activities, which in the opinion of the Trustees are likely to
further the interests of the Trust.
